MADiSON ViOLETT’s is a velvet roar of angst. Her new single, “Bleed for Me,” which features Kellin Quinn (Sleeping with Sirens), unleashes an emotional barrage that demands honesty: “Will you bleed for me/Like I bleed for you?” She delivers her gritty, yet miraculously silken vocals with a fierce passion that brings to mind such icons as Gerard Way and Amy Lee.

The accompanying video is just as engaging as the music. MADiSON ViOLETT sprints through a series of familiar cinematic tropes filled with blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moments, which begin in school detention and conclude with an epic performance at a raucous house party. Between the visuals and the music, MADiSON ViOLETT offers decades’ worth of nostalgic touchstones in this 3-minute torrent.

“The ‘Bleed for Me’ music video was an absolute blast to create,” the artist stated. “I worked alongside incredible actors and an awesome production team, including Christopher Shaibi, with whom I’ve collaborated on several projects. The vision for this video was to parody those cliché 2000s high school films and really encapsulate the nostalgia and campiness that come with the imagery.”

She added, “I also felt very inspired by My Chemical Romance’s ‘I’m Not Okay’ music video, which is probably one of my favorite pieces of musical media from the 2000s era. So, with all the dramatic slow-motion shots, classrooms, locker rooms, house parties, and all, it came together into something super sick that I hope everyone else enjoys as much as I did making it.”

MADiSON ViOLETT is an elite breed of creator. She releases the raw emotion of her lyrics via elegant melodies that are driven by relentless rhythms and exquisitely barbed guitar riffs. The music bleeds relevance and serves as a lifeline to the broken, the beaten, and the damned, who are trying to find a place in societal chaos.
