No matter which generation you are, chances are there’s a Demi Lovato anthem (or two) nestled in your favorites playlist. As an artist, she’s created an extraordinarily rich and vibrant repertoire of powerhouse pop over her nine-album career (so far). Her technical and emotional virtuosity is praised by both fans and critics, and it has earned her over 150 million Lovato fanatics (Lovatics). Last week, during her sold-out performance at the Hollywood Palladium, the global superstar officially announced the next step in her musical journey, her 23-stop, 2026 It’s Not That Deep Tour.

The day before her performance at the Hollywood Palladium, Demi released It’s Not That Deep. The album is a pulsating invitation to join her on her high-energy escapades. It’s Not That Deep is a love letter encouraging you to live an uninhibited and vivacious life!
“It’s Not That Deep is about letting go of inhibitions and bringing out the carefree energy that lives in all of us and makes us want to dance all night long,” Demi revealed. “I’m so excited for you all to finally dance with me.”

Leading up to the release, Demi dropped several tracks to herald the next phase of her career. In August, she treated fans to the sizzling “Fast,” which cranked up the heat, promising this was going to be an album packed with unrelenting vibe. “Here All Night” arrived in September. This exuberant triumph of boundless energy puts the ‘80s aerobics era to shame — the decade could never keep up with the vigor of this song. “Kiss” is the track that contains the inspiration for the album title: “It’s not that deep, unless you want it to be.” She released the single in October, two weeks before the album. The provocative celebration of sensuality is a spicy, leveled-up version of “Confidence.”

“This album represents an exciting chapter for me, which has been filled with joy, freedom and lightness,” Demi expressed. “Creating this album was the most fun I’ve ever had in the studio. Zhone [producer] is an incredible collaborator, and it was so effortless working together to create a genuinely fun, celebratory album that is true to where I am now.”
Lovato also released a live version of “Let You Go” when she dropped the album. This song showcases her remarkable vocals and pledges her upcoming live show will be nothing less than spectacular. Adéla will be joining Demi on this outing.
