They’re back! After nearly five years away, the adorably mischievous clan of creepy cuties has returned. The brand new season of Spookiz [Spooky + Kids] premieres on Friday, Oct. 17, 2025. Unlike previous episodes, which were primarily set in a school environment, this season will take place in Japan. It also promises new characters that are inspired by Japanese monster lore.

If you’re not already familiar with this phenomenon that has over 6 million subscribers and boasts over 3 billion total views, you’re in for a treat. The animated series is fully owned by Sony Music Labels Inc. and episodes range from just around a minute to 25 minutes (in later seasons). There’s even a movie if you like longer-form entertainment.

For the most part, the action-based hilarity is conveyed without dialogue. It covers all types of silly cartoon antics through the plights of the main characters. Each of the lovable monsters has its own unique shape, color, and personality.

Cula (Dracula) is a boastful and vexing but ultimately charming character.
Frankie (Frankenstein) is a kindhearted giant who is obsessed with food.
Kebi (Goblin) is an energetic, carefree, and unpredictable prankster.
Kongkong (Chinese Ghost) might be a slightly devious troublemaker, but he is still absolutely adorable.
Zizi (Zombie) is delightful, bright, and focused, but her body tends to fall apart and she smells a little like a dumpster.

You can find all the episodes (over 75) on the Spookiz World website and on platforms, such as YouTube. The Spookiz cast a sweetly bewitching spell that will gently coax you into the magic of the spooky season, so families in the United States, Asia, Central and South America, and Europe can enjoy the impish mirth. And don’t forget the new season premiere date: Friday, Oct. 17, 2025.
