“Snow Angel” was the first release from Reneé Rapp’s upcoming album of the same name. It was dropped earlier this summer to herald the artist’s LP in a powerful way. The song is a deep and devastatingly beautiful track that spotlights the purity of Reneé’s vocals while revealing the fearless vulnerability of her lyrics.
Today, Rapp released “Talk Too Much,” a track with a smooth and mellow groove that is equal parts tongue-in-cheek and brutal honesty. In the video, Reneé’s compulsion to blather on and on gets her into a bit of trouble. In real life, who hasn’t sent that text that didn’t need sending? Rapp nails the idea of being unable to keep your thoughts from spilling over and jeopardizing your relationships.
“Talk Too Much” co-stars the scintillating social media sensation Kennedy Walsh (7 million followers), and it was directed by Rapp’s best friend Alyah Chanelle Scott. If that name sounds familiar, it’s because she played Whitney Chase on “The Sex Lives of College Girls.” Coincidentally, Reneé played Leighton Murray on the series as well.
Both “Snow Angel” and “Talk Too Much” were produced by Alexander 23 who has collaborated with artists, such as Selena Gomez and Jeremy Zucker, and produced Olivia Rodrigo, Tate McRae, and others.

Reneé always had a love for music. “I couldn’t sit still in the car unless there was music. Otherwise, I would cry the entire time,” she stated.
When she was a teenager, Rapp wrote and recorded her own songs. Her musical career took off when she landed the role of Regina George in the Tony-nominated Mean Girls musical on Broadway. After that, Reneé took a brief detour from music to star in Mindy Kaling’s “The Sex Lives of College Girls,” which aired on HBO Max. However, when she released her debut single, “Tattoos,” it was obvious the world was hungry for her brand of raw and passionate storytelling.
After she releases Snow Angel, Rapp will head out on her first major headlining tour. On the day the artist’s “Snow Hard Feelings Tour” was announced, she sold 65K tickets in North America alone. Fifteen of the dates, including The Greek Theater in Los Angeles, the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, and The Fillmore in Philadelphia, are already sold out. If you want to see Reneé live on this tour, you need to act soon because you’re running out of options.
