Hero. Legend. King. On February 16, one of Marvel’s most enigmatic characters, T’Challa of Wakanda, will dominate the screen in a high-tech spectacular theatrical event called Black Panther. The story follows T’Challa’s return home after the death of his father to take his rightful place as king. However, a powerful foe is intent on drawing the new king into a conflict that will put the fate of not only Wakanda, but the entire world at risk.

The extravagant premiere took place on Monday, January 29 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, California. Indeed, with the cavalcade of celebrities and the film’s star arriving in an unfathomably sleek and elegant 2018 Lexus LS, the event was truly fit for a king.

Black Panther stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, with Angela Bassett, with Forest Whitaker, and Andy Serkis. The film is directed by Ryan Coogler and produced by Kevin Feige with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nate Moore, Jeffrey Chernov, and Stan Lee serving as executive producers. Ryan Coogler and Joe Robert Cole wrote the screenplay.
